The Directorate Director of Care and Support Services is responsible for leading, coordinating, and directing the Bed and Laundry Services team. This includes supervising the delivery of these services, ensuring compliance with established rules and regulations, and addressing any violations or misconduct. The director ensures the availability and proper storage of necessary supplies such as blankets, bedding, soap, towels, sheets, and pillowcases. Compliance with both service guidelines and fire safety regulations is a key responsibility. The director also organizes community-building activities, programs, and events aimed at enhancing the dormitory experience and fostering a sense of belonging among residents. Collaboration with other departments such as central Security office and Counselling Services is essential to address safety, security, and risk management issues affecting dormitory users. Effective communication with residents, staff, and administration is maintained through various channels, including meetings, memos, and social media. The Dormitory Services Supervisor and team are tasked with maintaining cleanliness, order, and safety in the dormitory and common areas. They enforce dormitory rules, intervene in cases of misconduct, and conduct routine inspections to ensure adherence to regulations and safety standards. The Day-care Centre Coordinator and team manage access to health services for children, oversee child admissions, and supervise day-care workers. They also maintain daily communication with families by reporting on activities and submit regular performance reports to their immediate supervisor.
