The Women's Rehabilitation and Skills Enhancement Center for Tomorrow was established on March 5, 2016.It was inaugurated and opened for service in the presence of the FDRI Prime Minister, Hon Dr. Abiy Ahmed and the Honourable Mrs. Adanech Abebe, the mayor of our city.
The Lenawa Women's Rehabilitation and Skills Development Center will provide services to women from all sub-cities who are begging on the streets, working in the sex trade, returning migrants, and those who have no income at home and who are living in low-income families.
In addition to rehabilitation and various skills training, trainees who have entered the training will be provided with free health care, food service, sports and gym services, clothing and other things in the premises. In addition, each trainee will receive individual and group counseling services, as well as mental health-related treatment.
It is an institution that works hard to make their future brighter than just a dream, by creating job opportunities for them after completing their training, donating a start-up budget, and providing them with necessary equipment, in collaboration with private investors and non-governmental organizations. It is a working organization that works hard for the future and works hard to make their future a reality by lifting the precious human being, especially women, from the place where they have fallen.
