Additionally, the role requires optimizing workflows for efficiency and accuracy, overseeing test processing and interpretation, and ensuring timely and precise reporting of results. Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers is essential for patient diagnostics and treatment planning, including participation in multidisciplinary meetings. The leader stays updated on advancements in laboratory techniques and technology, enforces strict biosafety and infection control protocols, conducts risk assessments, and implements safety measures. Training staff on hazardous material handling and addressing lab-related concerns with expert guidance further ensures a safe and high-performing laboratory environment.
