As the Emergency and Outpatient Team Leader, key responsibilities include ensuring efficient triage and prioritization of emergency cases while overseeing outpatient services to minimize wait times and enhance patient experience. This role involves maintaining accurate documentation of patient care and referrals, as well as leading and supporting doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff. The leader ensures proper staffing levels for both emergency and outpatient units and conducts training sessions on emergency response and outpatient care protocols. Additionally, the role requires preparing staff for medical emergencies and mass casualty incidents, coordinating with ambulance services and referral hospitals, and managing the availability of emergency drugs, supplies, and equipment. The Team Leader works to streamline workflows for greater efficiency, implements digital systems for improved patient record management, and continuously monitors and improves patient satisfaction scores to ensure high-quality care delivery.
